It is that time of year again! It will be just a few short weeks before the children and grandchildren begin to pack bags and set off on their summer family adventure.  In my case, our granddaughters will be with us on some of those adventures.  I am always interested in finding ways to truly make our time together adventurous and meaningful.  Therefore, looking for and obtaining resources that help in that area has become a ritual for me. 

This year my wife and I have added the Adventures In Odyssey Gift Pack from The Focus on the Family Organization.  Our choice was based upon the fact that we will be going on some lengthy road trips and devotions with the girls each night prior to bedtime.  This resource is packed with Bible stories, songs, cartoon characters and beautifully illustrated books, all designed to teach kids strong Biblical values. We’ll use the CD’s while traveling, listening to stories and sing scripture songs.  Then at home we will use the DVD episodes for quiet times.
